Building Award-Winning Experimentation Cultures: Process, Data & Stats, Psychology, and UX

Building Award-Winning Experimentation Cultures: Process, Data & Stats, Psychology, and UX

with Ruben de Boer and Kelly Wortham

This course was created by Online Dialogue, an award-winning consumer psychology and experimentation consulting firm & 2023/2024 Top-Influencer Forward Digital, founded by Kelly Wortham, Executive Director and Founder of the Test & Learn Community

About This Course

Kelly & Ruben walk through what will be covered in the course

You will join interactive modules designed to apply the learning to your everyday work in Experimentation. We will cover everything you need to move forward in a practice of experimentation culture including:

  1. Process - structured methods for gathering knowledge about your customers at all stages, including various research methods

  2. Data & Statistics - you will understand the foundations of quality data and most importantly - how to turn that data into actionable insights

  3. Consumer Psychology - discover how consumer psychology and behavioral science work to boost conversion

  4. UX - bring everything together and enhance user experience through data-driven design

Who is it for?

Everyone! Do you work in product? Marketing? Are you an analyst who wants to learn more about experimentation? Are you already working in experimentation but feel like your team is stagnating? There is a reason that teams who have taken the Online Dialogue training have won the Experimentation Culture Awards year after year. After serving on the jury for five years in a row, I saw a clear pattern and reached out to Ruben and Online Dialogue to ask them if we could partner to update the training and bring it to a broader audience. With the launch of the TLC Learning Groups, a beautiful partnership was made - and you are the beneficiaries.

What it is

During this course, Ruben and I will walk you through everything you need to know to run a great experimentation program and build an award-winning culture. You will have access to your instructors during the session and will be able to ask questions of your instructors in the Slack cohort in between sessions as you work on assignments (if helpful). After the course is over, you’ll have lifetime access to your cohort and an alumni channel including all members who have ever taken this course.

8 2-Hour Sessions*:

What if I can’t make all the sessions? No problem! Each session will include a recorded lecture with breaks for discussion that will not be recorded to maintain your privacy. After each session, the lecture recording will be shared with participants, so if you need to miss a session or two, you will still be able to catch up.

*Sessions may require the full two hours or may be as short as an hour, depending on the content for a particular week. The full agenda will be added below closer to course launch

Agenda:

NOTE: Actual start date to be determined closer to date

  • Week 1: Introductions, review of what we’ll cover, experimentation models, processes
